Mass Produckshun Portrets - fayvurets.

These are some of my favorites from my mass production portrait series.
I tried to capture certain emotions from each person and then chose which one looked the most real and raw. Some of the emotions being portrayed are silly, but i think i ultimately captured each individual's personality in the way I wanted to.






Like Ryan McGinley, I wanted to take the environment and background out of the photograph so that the image was solely about the individual and nothing else was distracting from that.
I used vignetting and a few photo filters when editting, so my images are not as raw as McGinley's, but I wanted to use the vignetting to draw the eye in and used certain color filters to give them a cool tone and make them all look visually similar and cohesive.

Ryan McGinley- inspiration for mass portraiture.

Ryan Mcginley is a master of mass production portraits in my opinion simply because he is able to capture a person's essence and beauty in a single image. He is able to portray them in a way that makes you feel like you are meeting them, that gives you insight into the soul.
